Custom Birth Preparation Session

A luxury, in-person masterclass series led by an expert Midwife, OBGYN and two experienced NICU nurses, supporting parents with evidence-based education across pregnancy, birth, feeding and newborn care.

As independent practitioners we have the luxury of not being confined to teaching what hospitals and doctors "prefer". We will tell you everything you need to know to make the best decision for YOU!

A personalised 60-minute midwife-led session tailored to your individual pregnancy, circumstances and birth plans.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to preparing for birth. Your previous birth, your pregnancy, your preferences and your maternity care plan all influence the questions you may have and the preparation that will be most useful to you.

This session gives you dedicated time with an experienced midwife to talk through your specific situation, understand your options and prepare for the birth ahead.

Your session may focus on:

• VBAC and preparing for a vaginal birth after caesarean
• Induction of labour (IOL) and what to expect
• Planned caesarean birth and preparing for the experience
• Waterbirth and preparing for birth in water
• Understanding different birth options and possible pathways
• Preparing for labour and birth
• Birth preferences and how to communicate them with your maternity team
• Understanding interventions, procedures and terminology
• Preparing for different scenarios if your plans change
• Practical preparation for labour
• Questions you want to discuss with your obstetrician or maternity team
• Helping your birth partner understand how they can support you

The session is completely tailored to you. You don't need to fit into a particular birth category or have a specific question prepared. We'll focus on what is relevant to your pregnancy, your plans and what you need to feel more informed and prepared.

60-minute one-to-one session

Please note: This is a non-clinical midwifery education and preparation service. It does not replace your primary healthcare provider, obstetrician, doctor, hospital or maternity team, and does not include clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment or medical decision-making. Your maternity team remains responsible for your clinical care.

Refunds

Once the cohort has started, bookings are non-refundable. Before the cohort begins, we may be able to offer a partial refund or credit, depending on the circumstances. Please see our Terms & Conditions for full cancellation and refund details.

Transfer

Life happens. You can transfer your booking once, free of charge, to another cohort taking place within the following 12 months, subject to availability.

If we cancel

If we need to cancel a cohort, you can choose between a full refund or transferring your booking to a future cohort. Your printed workbook is yours to keep either way.
