Pregnancy & Birth Support provides ongoing, individualised non-clinical midwifery support, rather than a one-off appointment. Your support is tailored around your pregnancy, your circumstances and the level of support you want.

Depending on the package you choose, support may include:

• Ongoing support and guidance throughout pregnancy
• Regular contact and personalised midwife support
• Help understanding your options and preparing for decisions
• Birth preparation and planning
• Support developing and communicating your birth preferences
• Preparation for labour and different birth scenarios
• Support throughout your labour and birth
• Practical and emotional support during labour
• Support for your birth partner
• Help communicating your preferences with your maternity team
• One or two postnatal visits following the birth
• Continued guidance and support during the early postpartum period

This isn't a fixed number of appointments or a one-off service. The level and structure of support will depend on the package you choose and what you need throughout your pregnancy, birth and early postpartum period.

Important: This is a non-clinical midwifery service providing personalised education, information, guidance, advocacy and emotional and practical support. It does not replace your primary healthcare provider, obstetrician, doctor, hospital or maternity team, and does not include clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment or medical decision-making. You should continue to attend all recommended antenatal appointments and seek medical advice or assessment from your primary healthcare provider whenever required.

Refunds

Once the cohort has started, bookings are non-refundable. Before the cohort begins, we may be able to offer a partial refund or credit, depending on the circumstances. Please see our Terms & Conditions for full cancellation and refund details.

Transfer

Life happens. You can transfer your booking once, free of charge, to another cohort taking place within the following 12 months, subject to availability.

If we cancel

If we need to cancel a cohort, you can choose between a full refund or transferring your booking to a future cohort. Your printed workbook is yours to keep either way.
